Halloween Festivities

Another great Halloween has come and gone. The kids were so adorable. It was so much fun to watch Sarah for her first Halloween. This little girl just gets stuff. Halloween did not phase her one bit. She walked up to every door and said, "Trick or Treat!"  She loved handing out the candy to other kids, and she really loved wearing her costume.

Here are some highlights.

Look who gave themselves a haircut today!

Sugar Cookies

The kids made our traditional halloween sugar cookies tonight. It was Sarah's first time, but she looked like a pro. She loved rolling the dough, using the cookie cutters and decorating. She especially liked eating the sprinkles.  I'm grateful that with seven kids, I still feel like doing some fun things. It is worth it just too see the kid's cute faces enjoying it so much.

She was saying "I did it!"

Happy Birthday Mr. John!

Look who turned 5! I can't believe my little boy is getting so big. This birthday was by far the most exciting for him. He counted down the days, knew what he wanted for presents (LEGOS thank you very much), and kept saying, "Thanks for my birthday, mom!" all day long. He is seriously one of the cutest and nicest boys around.

He planned his menu out - Swedish pancakes for breakfast, Fried Chicken for dinner and chocolate cake.

We LOVE this adorable 5 year old.

You Know It's October When .... You Go To a Pumpkin Patch!

The highlight of our weekend was going to the Pumpkin Patch. The kids had the best time. They loved climbing the hay bales, playing with the kittens, going through the maze, riding the train and basically running amuck. It is fun to watch Sarah with all of these firsts. She acts like a pro. It seems like she can't be overwhelmed by any situation. She is always ready to just take it all in!

Look at how crowded they were all in one compartment
